Chappell Roan Exits Talent Agency After Epstein Exec Link

Grammy-winning singer Chappell Roan has ended her professional relationship with the Wasserman talent agency, whose founder and chief executive, Casey Wasserman, also serves as chairman of the Los Angeles 2028 Olympics organizing committee. Her abrupt exit occurred after newly released government records linked Wasserman to Ghislaine Maxwell, an associate of the late financier and convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.

The “Pink Pony Club” singer said Monday, “Artists deserve representation that aligns with their values and supports their safety and dignity. This decision reflects my belief that meaningful change in our industry requires accountability and leadership that earns trust.”

Roan also said, “I hold my teams to the highest standards and have a duty to protect them as well. No artist, agent or employee should ever be expected to defend or overlook actions that conflict so deeply with our own moral values.”

The star said her decision “reflects my belief that meaningful change in our industry requires accountability and leadership that earns trust.”

Despite the controversy, the International Olympic Committee has indicated it will not intervene in Wasserman’s position with the Los Angeles Games, and his leadership of the agency remains intact.
