Multiple reports confirm that comedian and former television personality Ellen DeGeneres has relocated with her wife Portia De Rossi to the UK following re-election results of Donald J. Trump to the White House.
The couple are reportedly selling their Montecito, Calif., mansion. Of course, Montecito is also where HRH Prince Harry and Meghan Markle reside, as well as Oprah Winfrey, and other celebrities. It is a Santa Barbara locale that is best known for sprawling spaces and privacy for the world’s elite.
DeGeneres, 66, and De Rossi, 51, were recently spotted out at British host Jeremy Clarkson’s pub The Farmer’s Dog in Burford, England. Joining them for an acoustic show were singer Natalie Imbruglia and The Corrs.
DeGeneres donated $3,300 to ex-presidential democratic candidate Kamala Harris and was considered one of her top fiscal sponsors in the Vice President’s race to beat Trump in the White House bid.
Following Harris’ defeat on Nov. 5, 2024, DeGeneres and De Rossi apparently had new plans: get out of dodge.
